Wingmasters Program

Today we had some special visitors at Davis School.  Here are some pictures of some of the birds that came to visit with the Wingmasters Program.  Do you know which bird is the fastest? Ask your child, they know! Isn't the camouflage of the owl in the second picture amazing?

Happy birthday Ruby!

To celebrate Ruby's 8th birthday, Mrs. Brennan came in to read a special book to the class.  The book of choice was The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Thanks for coming in and sharing such a great book with the class!

Gardening

Children in room 235 planted lettuce and spinach this morning.  They used rulers to measure how far down they needed to plant the seeds.  Let's hope we can harvest our crop before June 20th!

Look who we found!

Geography Question

Today our class teacher gave out a geography question  and it was what is the longest river in the United States? If you got it right  our teacher will put it in a bucket and she will pick one person
they will get to skip one thing in the homework paket. It could be anything reading, math, and filling out the sheet. Here are a few friend using atlases to find the answer.
