To celebrate Ruby's 8th birthday, Mrs. Brennan came in to read a special book to the class. The book of choice was The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Thanks for coming in and sharing such a great book with the class!
And we Gloud pasta on plates to make our life cycle.we also draw leafs to make the pasta look like the Real thing. It was fun to make the life cycles.and we had to leav it here to let it dry.
Children in room 235 planted lettuce and spinach this morning. They used rulers to measure how far down they needed to plant the seeds. Let's hope we can harvest our crop before June 20th!
Today our class teacher gave out a geography question and it was what is the longest river in the United States? If you got it right our teacher will put it in a bucket and she will pick one person they will get to skip one thing in the homework paket. It could be anything reading,math, and filling out the sheet. Here are a few friend using atlases to find the answer.
Today Mrs.Petersen's class and Mrs.Marino's were busy making a house out of cereal boxes but guess how many cereal boxes we made a house out of no more no less exactly 100 cereal boxes. We used rubber cement and then the grown ups glued it together so it's sticked together better. Our house is almost done we just need to stick the walls together and then our house will be complete. Wow a house made out of cereal boxes that is just cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
